Connect Acquis to Claude

  1. Open claude.ai → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
  2. Paste the connector URL:https://api.acquislaw.com/mcp
  3. Claude opens the Acquis sign-in: enter an email and password — this creates your account and starts a 14-day Pro trial (no card).
  4. Allow the tools when prompted (they are read-only retrieval tools).
  5. Connectors added on the web are available in Claude desktop and mobile too.

The five tools

search_eu_law

Semantic search with ranked, cited, verbatim provisions.

get_provision

Exact lookup: act + article (+ paragraph + point).

get_act_status

CELEX, latest consolidation, in-force info, coverage.

list_versions

Every stored version of a provision with validity windows.

verify_fragment

Cryptographic check of any citation the tools returned.
